Annual Week “Srijan” Inauguration and March Past
The Annual Week “SRIJAN”- 2023 commenced with March – Past which was coordinated by the officials Shri N. K. Joshi, Dr. Himani Dangwal, Lt. Rohit Maithani, Dr. Manoj Bansala, Dr. Shalini Agarwal and Mrs. Ruchika Bhatnagar. The programme was inaugurated at 10.00 am by Principal of the institute Dr. Shailja Pant, Director Shri V. K. Nagpal, Additional Director Shri Sunil Kaul, Coordinator IQAC Dr. Shruti Sharma and Dean Student’ Welfare Shri Vipul Garg with Deep Prajwalan in front of the Statue of Goddess Saraswati. Thereafter March – Past was coordinated by Sports committee via the Sports Captain (Boy) Mr. Mohit Mehla and Sports Captain (Girl) Ms. Prakriti followed by the nine other houses respectively-
- Agriculture Department (Swaminathan House), 2. Forestry Department (Bose House),
- Physiotherapy Department (Kalam House), 4. Biotechnology Department (Bhabha House)
- Commerce Department (Chanakya House), 6. Microbiology Department (Khurana House)
- Horticulture Department (Randhawa House), 8. Pathology Department (Charak House)
- Mix Department (Raman House)
This was followed by oath taking ceremony for the sports spirit. The inauguration programme was followed by cultural activities namely Ganesh Vandana solo dance by Ms. Nanda, Classical solo dance by Ms. Hargun Kaur, Garhwali group folk dance, Punjabi group dance and Tribal group folk dance which was appreciated by one and all. On this occasion the balloons of “SRIJAN”- 2023 were released as a symbol of peace, unity and prosperity by Dr. Shailja Pant, Director Shri V. K. Nagpal, Additional Director Shri Sunil Kaul, Coordinator IQAC Dr. Shruti Sharma, Dean Student’ Welfare Shri Vipul Garg, teachers and students. The programme was hosted by D.S.W.C. members Ms. Aiman Aijaz and Mr. Rajesh Bisht.
The activities of the first day-
- Poster presentation Competition on Topic “Green Energy: Powering a safer future” was conducted in Dolphin Ground at 10:30 am. The officials were Dr A. K. Pundir and Dr. Vikrant Singh. The judges for the Poster presentation Competition on Topic “Green Energy: Powering a safer future” were Shri V. K. Nagpal and Shri Sunil Kaul. The result of the activity was as follows-

- II- Sunidhi & Aradhana- Agriculture department
- III- Nandini & Kanak- Microbiology department
- Rangoli Competition was conducted in Room no 24,25,26,27 at 11:30 am. The officials were Ms. Deepti Gulati, Dr. Abhilasha, Dr. Ritu Singh and Dr. Keerty Mathur. The judges for Rangoli Competition were Principal Dr. Shailja Pant and Coordinator I.Q.A.C. Dr. Shruti Sharma. The result of the activity was as follows-

- II- Surya Batool and Kritika Rai- Department of Mix
- III- A- Mrinmayi Patil & Nishita Paras- Physiotherapy department
B- Mritunjai & Simaran- Agriculture department
- Mehandi competition was conducted in Room no 28 at 12:30 pm. The officials were Dr. Gauri and Mrs. Rama Garg. The judges for Mehandi competition were Principal Dr. Shailja Pant and Coordinator I.Q.A.C. Dr. Shruti Sharma. The result of the activity was as follows-

- Debate (English) topic: “Humanity should fear advances in Artificial Intelligence?” was conducted in New Auditorium at 02:30 pm. The officials were Mr. Rajesh Kumar Jha and Dr. Deeksha Bhatt Gairola. The judges for the Debate (English) topic: “Humanity should fear advances in Artificial Intelligence?” were Director Shri V. K. Nagpal, DSW Shri Vipul Garg, and HOD Physics Dr. Ashish Raturi. The result of the activity was as follows-

B- Hargun- Commerce department
- Debate (Hindi) topic: “युवाओं को भfवष्य के लिए तैयार करेगी नई लिक्षा नीfत?” was conducted in New Auditorium at 03:30 pm. The officials were Mr. Rajesh Kumar Jha and Mr. Vijay Ratna Panwar. The judges for the Debate (Hindi) topic: “युवाओं को भfवष्य के लिए तैयार करेगी नई लिक्षा नीfत?” were DSW Shri Vipul Garg, Principal B. Ed. Dr. G. N. Sinha, H.O.D. Dr. Ashish Raturi and Faculty Physiotherapy Dr. Keerti Mathur. The result of the activity was as follows-

Name: Serlyn Beypi Program and Batch: B.Sc. forestry 2017-2021 Current position: Forest Ranger Karbi angling district (Assam) Brief : Ms. Serlyn Beypi completes her B.Sc. degree during 2017-2021 in Forestry from Dolphin PG Institute. She was very active in her studies and has a great potential of sport spirit.
